Expedition 33

Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG that immerses you in a dark universe inspired by the French Belle Époque, where time is your worst enemy and every year humanity faces the threat of extinction. In Expedition 33, you have to lead a group of adventurers in the most important mission of their lives: to break the cycle of death imposed by the mysterious Paintress, who erases anyone who reaches a certain age each year. Strategic combat system

Expedition 33 blends turn-based mechanics with real-time action. In each battle, you can choose between melee attacks to gain skill points, aimed ranged options, or special abilities that require quick tap events to maximize their effect. During the opposing side's turn, you will have to dodge, jump, or parry attacks in real time. What's more, you can take advantage of your enemies' elemental weaknesses, apply or resist status effects, and switch characters mid-combat if one of them falls.

Deep character customization

Each team member has their own unique skill tree, weapons, and mechanics. For example, Lune, the mage, can generate and consume elemental "Stains" to power her spells; Maelle can switch stances to alter her combat style and defense; Sciel uses magic cards to build up energy and unleash devastating effects; Gustave and Verso do more damage the more they attack; and Monoco can transform into enemies and use their special abilities against them. As you progress, each character levels up and receives attribute points that can be invested in vitality, strength, agility, defense, and luck. You can even equip "Pictos" that grant additional advantages and unlock "Luminas", passive skills that are shared between your characters once mastered. This progression system also includes weapon upgrades through "Chroma Catalysts", which enhance gear power.

Freedom to explore the world

As well as intense fighting, Expedition 33 has a world full of secrets and surprises. You can explore beautiful landscapes, discover hidden quests, and find special companions that allow you to access new routes and secret areas. Exploration is key to collecting resources, unlocking skills, and learning what previous expeditions uncovered. During breaks in the camp, you can interact with fellow adventurers, strengthen bonds, and unlock exclusive scenes, missions, and skills.

Challenges, rewards and replayability

Each battle in Expedition 33 rewards you with experience, coins, and upgrades, but also requires you to master the rhythm of attacks, identify enemy patterns, and adapt your strategies to each situation. The difficulty increases progressively, so you will have to perfect your tactics to be victorious in each combat.
